While at the beach one day, my two little worker bees asked that I help to build them a beach hut. I was more than happy to oblige as I have seen these ramshackle driftwood huts thrown together on the beaches for years, but never participated in their making. A quick design discussion with my 4 and 6 year old revolved around the idea of driftwood looking like dinosaur bones, which informed the resulting skeletal structure of the hut. Few things are more satisfying than a project being executed true to the design intent. Another summer day seized!
